Shankar’s official remake of 3 Idiots will be called Nanban. After months of speculations about Shankar’s choice of actors for the project, an official announcement is released recently confirming the presence of Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth in the movie. Nanban is produced by noted banner Gemini Film Circuit.
Nanban will also have Ileana, Sathyaraj and Sathyan in important roles with SJ Suryah, Anuya and Ajay Rathinam in cameos. Shooting has already begun with scenes involving Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj, Sathyan and SJ Suryah being shot in Ooty. Vijay will join the crew from 25th February. Manoj Paramahamsa wields the cinematography baton while Harris Jeyaraj will score music for Nanban.
